About Shorewood
Located just north of Milwaukee, the Village of Shorewood is a small, friendly community. With a population of around 13,000 residents and a small geographic area to work with, Shorewood is known as the densest community in the state of Wisconsin.
While there are many things to do in the Village of Shorewood, it is recommended that visitors take the trip to Atwater Park and soak in the breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. These spectacular views are enough to make anyone stop and take another look, especially around sunrise.
Shorewood also prides itself on it’s community feeling neighborly. The Shorewood Connects program was created to help restore neighborliness to neighborhoods, and help to make the city more “senior-friendly”. The Shorewood Connects program also awards Neighborhood-of-the-Year and Neighbor-of-the-Year to it’s residents as a way of showing appreciation for those who help out the community.
